Would a third world war clear the air? Sort population problems, environmental crisis etc.?

Yeah cause the last two did wonders for the global economies didn't they?

Ooops - sorry dalai. I was forgetting that the US was the entire world wasn't I - Silly me eh?Would a third world war clear the air? Sort population problems, environmental crisis etc.?No war never solves anything.Would a third world war clear the air? Sort population problems, environmental crisis etc.?
well the last two didn't so why should anotherWould a third world war clear the air? Sort population problems, environmental crisis etc.?We're long over due one, doubt it would sort problems out though, clear the air in terms of growing population definitely, environmental crisis, well I'm not convinced there is but throwing around nuclear bombs probably wouldn't help it

AFTERNOTE: To googlywo, yeah in fact the last two did do wonders for the economy, the US anyway, what do you think brought them out of the depression.

God knows why I'm getting dragged into this but once again googlywo your way off the mark. No the US isn't the entire world, thank fuc k, but there economy effects the entire world especially when every major country involved in WW1 was bankrolled by the US dollar. whats the famous saying "when wall street catches a cold the rest of the world sneezes" and I pretty sure a third world war will see the yanks rock up at some point.Would a third world war clear the air? Sort population problems, environmental crisis etc.?
we are constantly at war in the world, is it any better?Would a third world war clear the air? Sort population problems, environmental crisis etc.?Mabey but who on earth want ANOTHER world war.We have had 2 already!
It would probably clear the planet of everything.....permanently!!Would a third world war clear the air? Sort population problems, environmental crisis etc.?
I think it could be worse. There are way too many fanatics in the world today. The third world war would more and likely be nuclear and biological. That would hurt the environment. The result would literally drive the species under ground.
No, but it would give you someting more important to think about.Would a third world war clear the air? Sort population problems, environmental crisis etc.?
it would drasticly slow down the over population for many years after, but make the others that you mention much worse check out the current status of the nuke tests on bikini island in the pacific circa 1946-1959. read all of the diatribe and reports on this since, it will open your eyes
If that ends wars of aggression and crushes aggressors, then it would be a step in the direction of solving the environmental crisis. So if there is a World War, and Russia, China, or other peaceful countries are involved, I wish them good luck, please God.
If by "clear the air" you mean irradiate the atmosphere and by "Sort population problems" you mean wipe out a nice chunk of life on earth, than yeah.... maybe.
Yeah everyone would be dead except the ones like Bush and Chenay in their shuttles!
It could clear the air of everything, if its a nuclear war, including all man kind. Problem solved I guess.

But what would be the point of that.
population problem may be an excuse for bad management of our world. We could all move to the USA if it was well organised.

is it really a crisis?
It isn't doing so far
No....we'd still make a total mess of things. We'd start all over again throwing stones and using bows and arrows.

Mother Nature will save the planet without our help.....the human race is just a passing phase.....we'll soon go the way of the dinosaurs.
No.

It'd only lead to another one. More problems and more hatred between innocent civilians.

Violence is the answer to nothing.
