It is fashionable to blame all the environmental ills of modern society on human overpopulation, but the truth is that humans, even in tiny numbers can have profound effects on their environments. Even so called primitive peoples do NOT live "in harmony with nature" -- that is just a utopian myth. History is full of examples of small, primitive societies causing environmental devastation.



Humans whereever they are and in whatever numbers cause environmental changes through agriculture, pollution of land and water, industrialization, destruction of habitat and wildlife, etc. These issues are made worse by larger numbers of humans but they are not caused by larger numbers per se.What are some environmental problems brought by population?
actually there is no environmental problem caused by population...it will only affects our environment if population will be accompanied by the adj. "over"..there will be water,soil,noise, and whatever pollution we have today...

over population "may" increase the intensity of green house effect (just an opinion)... because i believe that more people, means more mind, means more innovation that could ruin our environment. hope this helps.
