Explain 3 problems of implementing international environmental conventions?

1) Forest destruction: people destroying the forest for money need to do so to support themselves or their family in a third world country

2) Population explosion: increase in consumption of resources, how are we to force people to use contraceptives?

3) Leadership: how can the rest of the world learn to limit greenhouse gases if one of the top contributors of it - the US - does not cooperate?Explain 3 problems of implementing international environmental conventions? One of the main and vastly encompassing problems is the social and economic differences such as culture, environmental laws, poverty which in turn leads to corruption and lack of resources. For example why would someone in Uganda save a Gorilla when there kids are starving or how can they stop someone from damaging their environment when their government renders them helpless and poor. Or how can a country or its people protect their resources when foreign countries operate free of government regulations due to global free trade agreements and other culturally destructive or IMF treaties.

Bad things are going on and nothing is being done, its time for changeExplain 3 problems of implementing international environmental conventions?Differences in semantics, culture and economic systems.
