Once you have that then it's easy to talk anyone into green/ alternative energy because of the money they will save and the more money they put into it the more Knowledge and technology will grow, along with the forest.....What can be some solution to our environmental problems?The only long term, sustainable solution is to revert back to stone age technology. Any solution that takes more from the earth than it puts back in is not sustainable. In the short term any energy system that can be converted to wind or solar power would do a lot of good.



Getting away from the culture of materialism would also help. Large, for profit corporations to more to damage the environment as they produce "toys" for us than any other entities.What can be some solution to our environmental problems?Making the large assumption that by "our," you mean "belonging to Americans," we must start by electing leaders who are not enemies of environmentalism, who do not place the drive for corporate profit over the long-term preservation of our resources and our parks.



The current administration has cut millions from scientific research into environmental problems and channeled the funds into fighting an unjust and unwinnable war.



So my answer is: political action, first. My agenda:

Impeach Bush and his administration.

Elect a Democrat in 2008.
