What are some environmental problems that we face?

...such as: global warming, climate change, pollution....What are some environmental problems that we face?The environmental problem that we face is that, for 12,000 years ago, there wasn't much more than perhaps 5 millions people on earth. But then, the hunter-gatherer started growing his own food and keep domestic animals, thus ensuring the survival of many more. The advance of modern technology and medicine has further increased the process to the point where we are 6.7 billion on earth today!



If we were to divide all of our resources; food, drinking water and energy per person, we would then get an individual quota. If we were all to live to e.g. a Nigerian quota, there would be enough resources from roughly 18 billion humans. But on a US (or Norwegian, my country) quota, there is only place for 1.5 billion. In other words: We are rich because they are poor.



And that is the true nature of our environmental problems. Apart from a few brave souls like David Attenborough, nobody dare to see that problem that is politically uncorrect because reducing the earth's population is like talking about genocide or apocalyptic wars. There are other solutions: for example: educate and give a work to women of the third world. Today, for too many of them, many children is their only insurance of survival.What are some environmental problems that we face?The problem really is not with the environment, it is with us humans. We have the weakness at finding fault with others and not accepting our own follies.

then melting galciers, rising sea levels - ,, ,, ,, ,, - 'it is OK'
then Ozone hole, floods, solar magnetic storms, Communication failures- 'It is OK'
Pollution, pesticide spray circulating through the food we eat- 'IT IS OK'
Virus infecting net sites, creating low esteem in humans...."it is OK'
Spiritual pollution, totally unnatural gratifications...'It is OK'
Have a nice cup of Coffee, take your bike go on a long ride, come back Eat well and sleep.
