What human biological phenomenon underlies the global climate change crisi and all other environmental problem?

What human biological phenomenon underlies the global climate change crisis and all other environmental problems (loss of habitat, loss of biodiversity, pollution, depletion of resources, etc.)?What human biological phenomenon underlies the global climate change crisi and all other environmental problem?unsustainable (exponential) population growth.

development has caused the extinctions of thousands of species in the last few hundred years. Every new human birth creates a greater demand on the remaining resources, which are being extracted from ecosystems. These resources are finite so sooner or later we will hit a point where we can no longer keep producing more humans. The best option is to reduce population growth by choice so we don't drive thousands more species to extinction in the meantime. We need to get religion out of the developing countries where they are the main providers of education but do not give access to contraception and abortion. If we found a way to redistribute the wealth this would also help as studies show birth rates are lowest in wealthy countries where women are better educated. What human biological phenomenon underlies the global climate change crisi and all other environmental problem?Having babies, obviously. But babies can grow up learning science, honesty, and energy efficiency (or, as currently, too often, not) and that is also a major underlying phenomenon.
