I would suggest using a library. The Internet is not a good place to do research on broad topics (sorry Yahoo!)

There have been many books written lately about the environment, but I agree with the other posts - much too broad of a topic.



Perhaps you could contact your state's environmental protection office and ask for them to send you some literature about their efforts on behalf of the environment. You might even be able to speak with someone who works in the field.



I think you need to narrow your topic abit, to something such as pollution, emissions or water purity.

First of all you need to narrow your topic extensively. Pick one aspect of the enviroment, air, land or water. Then pick one type of problem, such as carbon monoxide or some other toxin.
