Where is the freakin platinum chip in new vegas?

Once I entered the fort area, and ceasars little tent thing everyone attacks me. So i fight my way thru everyone, then kill everyone in caesars tent, and benny. benny doesn't have the chip on him, i can't seem to find it on any of the guards, and caesar is nowhere to be found (i ran out of his tent killing his guards while they chased after me, when i came back he was gone)



the entire time i was in the fort i didn't have any dialogue with anyone, i just walk in and BAM they start shooting. even the guy that is supposed to drive the little raft shot at me.

Well you have to have the mission to find the Platinum Chip first. Otherwise it won't work. Caesar has the Platinum Chip, he took it from Benny. So if you can't find Benny, don't worry, you just need to find Caesar's body if you killed him. If you didn't, he should be somewhere in the camp and you'll have to kill him to get it.
