What Was The Last Place In Public You Went To Barefoot (Beach doesn't count)? Anyone Say Anything?

It could be yesterday, last month, 3 years ago, whatever.

Maybe it a restaurant on the beach, a quick run into a grocery store for milk, or maybe walking on the Las Vegas strip at 1am and your high heels hurt %26amp; you decide to run into Fatburger. It could even be in school going from one class to another. Or maybe your shoe broke while in Olive Garden. Either way - just share a story!

Anyone say anything to you?

I ran into a Little Ceasars pizza last night to pick up pizza. No shoes. No one said anything. I thought it was funny that the lady in front of me came in in her socks. There was someone else in line also barefoot! What Was The Last Place In Public You Went To Barefoot (Beach doesn't count)? Anyone Say Anything?
Probably the library. I walk down to the library with my two boys at least once a week. They never wear any shoes to begin with, and I always take off my sandals when we get there. What Was The Last Place In Public You Went To Barefoot (Beach doesn't count)? Anyone Say Anything?
Much like Miss Honesty above, I really hate the feeling of dirt or anything on my feet. My friends make fun of me because I won't even walk through my own home in bare feet or socks (unless I am getting into the shower soon, then who cares), I wear slippers. But I did go barefoot from a bar a few months ago, my feet were killing me from my heels and I was too drunk to care... then I got into a cab and went from the cab to my house barefoot... those shoes were killer!!
Last spring, during spring break, I was reading a book with my bare feet propped up on a chair seat. A security guard passed by and watched me for a while, and then she said "put your shoes back on, honey". Reluctantly, I put them back on. I don't know why she said it, my feet were baby soft, clean, and didn't smell at all. I guess some people just don't like the sight of feet. What Was The Last Place In Public You Went To Barefoot (Beach doesn't count)? Anyone Say Anything?
does going FROM count too. if so then the ice rink. my numbskull wife took my bag (including shoes) home and i was there with nothin but reeky sweaty clothes....and feet. it ain't fun ridin a motorcycle barefoot either. and yeah...i got some looks.

she took the bag with her cuz i was on my motorcycle and she didn't know i still had my shoes, AND clean clothes in there.
It would almost be easier to tell you where I have NOT been barefoot lately. I go barefoot just about everywhere.

In the last week: 3 airports, airplane, grocery store, 2 banks, post office, Target, local deli, Chili's, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

Today, shopping at the mall in the town center. Quite uneventful, nobody made any sort of comment.

Yesterday, a hike in the forest. Pleasant as well!
The last time was a few months ago when I was walking home from school. I walked about 10 mins barefoot because the shoes I was wearing were killing my feet because they were worn out beyond repair.

A few people looked, but no one said anything about it.
Today, gas station and propane store.

No one said anything.
Last night my wife and I went to have dinner at the Rain Forrest Cafe in Chicago. I drove downtown barefoot, parked in a garage a block away, walked to the restaurant, sat down and had a great dinner, paid and left all barefoot. It was very comfortable. No one said anything.

I actually gave up shoes about three years ago and have been pretty much barefoot ever since. I shop, dine, hike, work, drive, and relax barefoot full time. I did have to go to a wedding last May and I wore shoes for that. I love to be barefoot and my feet have never been healthier and stronger since I took off my shoes.
i hate being barefoot even in my house. i cant stand the feeling of having dirt on my feet and that goes for little rocks or garbage as well. so the last time i was barefoot would be when i was little and playing outside. if i had to guess an age id say around 10 maybe? im always wearing socks, or slippers. if its summer time im wearing flip flops around. another reason id never go barefoot outside is because there are so many gross things on the ground...id never want to risk getting cut and having it get infected or even worse getting some weird disease.

and i just thought of a situation where one of my heels did brake...and my boyfriend (at the time) carried me.
