If you disbelieve in global warming, does that affect your opinions on other environmental issues?

If you believe global warming/climate change is a hoax, are you more skeptical of or more apathetic toward other, more localized environmental problems? If you disbelieve in global warming, does that affect your opinions on other environmental issues?People who disbelieve do so because Global warming somehow isn't consistent with their religious beliefs regarding the apocalypse. And they think Obama is the anti-Christ from kenya. If you disbelieve in global warming, does that affect your opinions on other environmental issues?
I'd bet you the contents of my wallet that I do more for the environment than most people do. I do not believe in global warming anymore than I believed in global cooling in the 70's. According to the scientists of the 70's, we should be under ice by now.If you disbelieve in global warming, does that affect your opinions on other environmental issues?no, but it make me question the motivation of the policiesIf you disbelieve in global warming, does that affect your opinions on other environmental issues?
I believe that Climate Change is real, I am just not sure how much effect man really has on it.

And I hate litter and pollution. If you disbelieve in global warming, does that affect your opinions on other environmental issues? Not at all! The climate is changing, and we can't effect that... but we still have to live here! So, it is important to take care of our home!
Global warming is one thing, pollution is another. The former (man as primary cause) is questionable science, in spite of the "warmers" who think that "consensus" is science (it is not..reproducible results is science). The latter is something that we all should care about, since we are charged with having dominion over the earth and ought not to leave it in a dirty, miserable, unusable state. If you disbelieve in global warming, does that affect your opinions on other environmental issues?
This whole thing would have been a lot easier for the public to handle if it was deemed an anti-pollution crusade.

'Global Warming' is egghead talk.

.
Not necessarily.

To me, the entire global warming argument suffers from a logical fallacy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post_hoc_er鈥?/a>

That doesn't mean that I think endangered species should be hunted, or that nuclear waste should be dumped in national parks. Just that if you want to convince me that actions that have occurred without the intervention of man in the past (see: end of the Ice Age) are in fact caused by man this time, you'll need to compile an argument that does not rely on one of the most common logical fallacies in modern culture. If you disbelieve in global warming, does that affect your opinions on other environmental issues?
Actually I'm pretty nuts about recycling.

Man-made GW is a joke.
Noone with even half a brain disputes that the climate of this little rock we reside on has undergone innumerable climate changes throughout the millennia. This being said, many, myself included, do not believe in MAN MADE climate change to the extent it's being packaged and sold. My stance on this doesn't really affect my opinions on other environmental issues much at all.
Not at all. I am skeptical of global warming, but consider myself a strong conservationist. In my professional life I regularly deal with water quality and energy efficiency issues, and give some of my volunteer time and money to a lands conservancy. I wrote a portion of the EPA's manual on VOC condensers.
More skeptical, but it depends on who is doing the talking.

As the saying goes, "Once burned, twice shy."
Yes, I believe that the majority of global warming is BS. However, I'm all for the National Park system, Keep Tahoe Blue, and others. I'm not for eco-marxists that want us to all live in tree huts and piss where we drink.
Well I do not believe climate change is a hoax. I've seen with my own eyes that forests are dying in the Appalachians and Southwest USA. Water level s on Lake Mead are way down due to extended drought. Australia has suffered terrible wildfires as a result of their heat and drought.
Do I think that we should do all that we can to limit pollution in the environment... Absolutely or we'll end up like Russia. But to concretely say that it is PROVEN that "global warming" is legit, is a complete buffon viewpoint. First thing i learned in science is that NOTHING is PROVEN, only hypothesized, with supporting evidence. As we all know now, GW proposals(if compared to trying to get a new drug on the market) would likely not muster passage by any drug adminstration. But why do Dems constantly drive home the point as fact??? All Cap and Trade does is make a Ponzi scheme for those who pollute the least... utterly ridiculous.
No There is nothing wrong with recycling and cleaner air, and cutting down on fossil fuels. What i don't want is my government forcing me to drive a certain car, i don't want carbon credits, or the e.p.a. coming in my house telling me how i should live. and above all i do not want to pay taxes so my government could send trillions of dollars to other countries all over the world in the name of Global Warming. You should pay attention to history? Didn't you guys say that Bush created a crisis so we can control oil by invading Iraq, well if you believe that, then why can't you believe this administration will use the same fear to regulate our lives. Obama already gave the E.P.A the power to do so, sit and watch his next move.
I do not believe the man can effect the climate as much as is required to cause global warming. I also don't see how a really hot planet is different than the end parts of the bible. The planet has gone through several ice ages before man came about. How did they thaw? How, I don't like the smell of smog, or the sight of litter ridden highways etc. so I think we should all try to keep the planet clean.
Considering the recent developments concerning the tainting of results and endeavors to lie in order to skew public opinion, it's only natural to be more skeptical of ALL environmental data and the "so-called" experts who present them.
Yes global warming is a hoax, and i think we should take care of the environment around us, i don't want the lakes, rivers, and air we breath, polluted, there should be a happy medium though.
Of course pollution is real, but that has nothing to do with global warming. I remember boating on the Chicago river back in the early 90's and industrial factories literally had tubes pouring "who knows what" into the river. That area of the river was covered in oily foamy patches. Then, a few miles down, it emptied into Lake Michigan. And Lake Michigan is considered the second cleanest Great Lake. If you want to look into man made climate change, I suggest you look into military operations across the globe. Our military has been trying to control the weather since the late 50's...that's actual experiment time. During the Vietnam era, we would constantly seed the clouds to make it rain over parts of that country to create harsher conditions for the VCs to transport their supplies. If you really want to look into it, look into HAARP, the russian woodpecker, ionospheric heaters. Nobody wants to touch this subject...probably because it is a military installation. But getting back to the point, I see pollution as a serious threat, but in no way do I see global warming a consequence of that.
Every day that people argue against climate change, the Chinese get further ahead of us in green technology.

Personally, I don't buy the man-made global warming theory. The science isn't there. But that doesn't mean I don't recycle, buy organic when I can, and turn the lights off in rooms Im not in. I do. Being 'green' doesn't mean you necessarily buy into the anthropogenic global warming hysteria. It just means you care about what's going on around you, and have the sense to be a little more responsible.
