Am I really saving money by doing this?

I can get a large fresh pizza at Little Ceasars for $5.

Or - I can get frozen pizza for $4.

but: I have to cook it for 20 minutes in my oven.

All that energy, heat, electric I'm using by baking the pizza........

does it add up to $1.00 anyway?

am I gonna spend a full $5.00 for pizza no matter what?

or is does 20 minutes of baking just cost 5 cents or something little?Am I really saving money by doing this?
Electric oven, convection Temp.: 325* Time: 45 min. Usage: 1.39 kWh Cost:$0.17

Based on energy cost of .12 kWhAm I really saving money by doing this?
Really, if you are simply putting the frozen pizza in the oven and eating it as is, then I would opt for the delivery instead. It's usually better. But I like to add stuff to my frozen pizza and make it my own so for me it's worth it. Things I add for example are small shrimp, fresh tomatoes, garlic, cilantro and red onion. Yum.

It is a shame really that it is so much cheaper just to eat out or order out than to cook at home, isn't it? I mean it kind of takes all the fun out of eating in my opinion.

Have fun!
i would just get it from little ceasars. your oven probably would use more electricity though. it really just depends on how old your oven is. old ovens tend to use more electricity than the newer ovens.Am I really saving money by doing this?
I'd just go for the one for $5 after using the electricity and the effort i'd think it was worth it
yea, i would just get the little ceasars one, there really good, and who wants to wait 20 minutes before eating pizza.Am I really saving money by doing this?
factor in the gas it takes for your car to get there and back and your probably buying a 10 dollar pizza...
